Jessica Jones may actually be from New Jersey -- and believe me, that matters, because home is a thing that matters -- but she's taken a lot of the weight of New York's crap on her shoulders.
She runs Alias Investigations at 46th & 8th, and is a once and future Defender.
But she looks normal.
Until you see her picking up a tow truck.
stuff jessica can do that you probably can't: lift about ten tons, fly (badly - she never practices it and refers to it as 'guided falling' and 'more like intense jumping'), heal very very fast, move very very fast. the canon wiki that is full of spoilers has the details.
Jessica Jones is from the MCU Netflix universe, and is the property of Marvel/Netflix/Brian Michael Bendis. They appear here solely for the purpose of role-playing, from which no profit whatsoever is being made.
She currently comes from between the end of season 1 of Jessica Jones.
